There’s been a lot of controversy over the band Old Firm Casuals, currently signed to Oi! The Boat Records. Lars Fredrickson, leader of the firm, is notably popular for his involvement with the band Rancid, UK Subs, Lars Fredrickson and the Bastards. He has also done production for Agnostic Front, The Business, Swingin’ Utters, and other various relevant bands. We, at Sussed, Busted, and Broke want to set the record straight with this opportunity that Mr. Fredrickson is in fact truly a Skunx Skin. Lars, thank you for this opportunity to get to know you. It’s a great honor speaking with you tonight, I remember when I first heard Rancid when I was 13. It was “…and out came the wolves”, Timebomb is still a decent song.. compared to stuff like… Reel Big Fish or No Doubt.

Lars: oi, me mates and I were having a go with some Brittanies, we were listening to English Rose on the posh ‘n becks and I said, “OI! we could sound like that!”
SBB: What does Old Firm Casuals mean?
Lars: we’re a firm. hooligan’s through and through mate. no mess no fuss. we stand behind our football club. And we’re old hahaha!
SBB: What FC are you repping?
Lars: San Jose Earthquakes!!!!! If only Michael Bradley had the stones to be in our team instead of Toronto FC!
